- Abolition of Slavery - Saturday February 1st
- Thaipoosam Cavadee - Tuesday February 11
- Maha Shivaratree - Wednesday February 26
- National Day - Wednesday March 12
- Ugaadi - Sunday March 30
- Eid-Ul-Fitr - Monday March 31 (subject to change)
- Labor Day - Thursday May 1st
- Ganesh Chaturthi – Thursday August 28
- Divali – Monday October 20
- Toussaint – Saturday November 1st
- Arrival of hired workers - Sunday November 2
- Christmas - Thursday December 25
Mauritius lists fifteen public holidays in its annual calendar, there are seven invariable public holidays in the year and the remaining public holidays are religious celebrations whose date varies from one year to another.
For the year 2025, most public holidays are on weekdays with the exception of four falling on a weekend.
Eid al-Fitr, the celebration marking the end of Ramadan, is subject to confirmation, as its celebration depends on the visibility of the moon.
